Plating method (1) Hot dip: This method involves immersing the coated steel material in a molten coating metal solution、 holding it for a period of time、 and then removing it to coat the steel surface with a layer of coated metal. Therefore、 this method is also known as the hot dip method. The hot dip method has been widely used in the manufacturing of galvanized、 tinned、 and aluminum plated products. The characteristic of the hot dip method is the strong adhesion between the coating and the substrate. However、 if the hot dip time is too long、 a thicker brittle alloy layer will be formed、 which affects the mechanical processing performance of the coated product. (2) Electroplating: The electroplating method involves immersing the coated steel material in a solution containing coated metal ions、 and then using the steel material as the cathode and another suitable material as the anode. Direct current is applied to discharge the metal ions on the steel material and deposit them on the steel surface in the form of electrocrystallization. The coating obtained by electroplating、 if not melted、 is mechanically bonded to the substrate. The advantages of electroplating method are easy to control the coating thickness、 uniform coating thickness、 and easy to manufacture single-sided coated steel plates and differential thickness coated steel plates
