1 Scope
This part of GB/T778 specifies the test requirements for complete water meters and water meter measurement sensors (including flow or volume detection elements) as independent units、 as well as calculators (including indicating devices). This section is applicable to the type evaluation test and first calibration test of drinking cold water and hot water meters as defined in GB/T778.1 This section provides detailed test procedures、 principles、 equipment、 and methods for the type evaluation test and first calibration test of water meters. If required by national regulations、 this section also applies to auxiliary devices
