This part of JB/T 8521 specifies circular lifting belts (hereinafter referred to as lifting belts) made of polyamide、 polyester、 and polypropylene synthetic fiber materials、 with a maximum working load of up to 100t. Grading and testing methods for lifting belts (with or without end fittings) with two、 three、 and four limbs during vertical lifting. This section is applicable to general material and item lifting operations. The lifting operations not covered in this section include lifting personnel、 potentially hazardous items such as molten metal、 acid、 glass plates、 fragile items、 nuclear reactors、 and lifting operations in special environments. The lifting straps in this section are suitable for use and storage within the following temperature range: a) Polyester and polyamide: -40C~100C; b) Polypropylene: -40C~80C. This section does not apply to the following types of lifting belts: a) lifting belts used to secure or tie goods up on pallets、 platforms、 or vehicles; b) tubular lifting belts without fillers. The technical requirements specified in this section should minimize the failures listed in Chapter 4、 which may occur when using lifting belts in accordance with the instructions and technical specifications specified by the manufacturer or authorized representative. 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents are referred to as clauses in this part of JB/T 8521.
