GB/T 18854-2002 Calibration of Automatic Particle Counters for Hydraulic Transmission Fluids (ISO 11171; 1999、 MOD) ISO 4407:1991 Measurement of Particle Pollution in Hydraulic Transmission Fluids by the Symbolic Mirror Counting Method ISO 11500:1997 Hydraulic Transmission Automatic Counting Measurement of Particle Pollution Using the Shading Principle

3 Code Description

3.1 General

The purpose of the code is to convert the number of particles in a unit volume of oil into a larger range of grades or codes.

、 Report in a simplified form for particle count data. The pollution level code of the oil is composed of codes. For every level of code increase、 the number of particles generally doubles According to the original code of Xi GB/T 14039-1993、 the oil pollution level is indicated by> 5 um and> The particle concentration code representation for two size ranges of 15 pm. However、 considering that the automatic particle counter adopts different calibration standards、 the above particle sizes have been changed in this standard. The reported sizes after the change are 4 um (e)、 6 un (c)、 and 14 um (e)、 which are equivalent to the reported particle sizes of 5 yam and 15 um that were originally calibrated using the ISO 44021991 automatic particle counter calibration method. 1SO 44021991 has been replaced by ISO 111711999. The meaning of um (c) refers to the particle size measured by an automatic particle counter calibrated in accordance with GB/T 18854-2002 According to ISO 4407; The particle size measured by an optical microscope in 1991 is the maximum size of the particle. The size measured by an automatic particle counter is the equivalent size obtained by converting the projected area of the particle into a surface. In most cases、 it is different from the value measured by the microscope method. The reported zygomatic particle size (≥ 5 um and ≥ 15 um) when measured by a microscope is the same as that specified in GB/T 14039-1993 Note: Particle counting is influenced by multiple factors. These factors include sampling method、 location、 accuracy of particle counting、 and the cleanliness of the sampling container. Special care should be taken when sampling to ensure that the obtained sample can represent the circulating oil in the entire system

3.2 Code Composition

The pollution level code reported using an automatic particle counter counting consists of three codes、 which represent the particle size and distribution as follows:

* * codes represent the number of particles with a zygomatic particle size of ≥ 4pam (e) per milliliter of oil; The second code represents the number of zygomatic particles with a particle size of ≥ 6 pam (c) per milliliter of oil; The third code represents the number of particles with a particle size of ≥ 14 pam (c) per milliliter of oil The pollution level code reported by counting under a microscope consists of particle concentration codes for two particle size ranges: ≥ 5 um and ≥ 15 um The determination of code 3-3 is based on the number of particles per milliliter of liquid sample (see Table 1) As shown in Table 1、 the upper and lower limits of the number of particles in each milliliter of liquid sample use a proportional difference of usually 2 to maintain the code within a reasonable range and ensure that each level is meaningful
