EPDM foam foam rubber strip is a type of foam rubber strip with a honeycomb shaped cross-section obtained by adding a chemical foaming agent to EPDM rubber、 foaming at high temperature、 and vulcanizing. It has the following characteristics: a) low density. There are a large number of bubbles present in sponge rubber、 with a density of about 0.5-0.6g/cm3、 which is half or even lower than that of ordinary rubber strips. b) Excellent thermal insulation. Due to the large number of pores in sponge rubber、 the thermal conductivity of the gas in the pores is much lower than that of solid rubber、 so the thermal conductivity of the foam rubber strip is very low. c) Good sound insulation effect. The sound insulation effect of sponge rubber is achieved by absorbing the energy of sound waves、 preventing them from being reflected and transmitted. d) High strength. Due to the low density of sponge rubber、 its specific strength is naturally higher than that of non foaming products. The mechanical strength of the foam adhesive strip decreases with the increase of foaming ratio. e) Excellent heat and chemical resistance properties、 better compression resilience than dense rubber、 and low softness
