1 Scope: This standard is used to measure metal bone screws with self tapping performance (hereinafter referred to as "screws") The axial pressure required for screwing in the standard material. The results obtained using this standard test method are not directly related to the axial pressure required for the screw to be inserted into the human bone. This standard is only used to confirm the consistency of the tested product or to compare the relevant performance of different products with similar sizes. This standard does not apply to the automatic compression of human bones to form mating threads during penetration、 "Self drilling" or "self drilling/tapping" without the need for prefabricated guide holes Metal bone screws in the form of. 2 Equipment 2.1 Test Device The test device used to measure axial self attack force is shown in Figure 1. The test device should include a variable speed electric motor that can continuously drive the spindle. The spindle can perform axial motion while continuously rotating to provide variable axial force. The testing device and spindle should have sufficient stiffness to ensure that there will be neither deflection nor deformation under the loading conditions of the test. In addition、 the testing device should include a test block fixture to fix the test block and be able to continuously monitor and record the forces、 torques、 and axial displacements generated during the screw testing process、 and calibrate the range of forces、 torques、 and axial displacements during the calculation process
