This standard specifies two types of illuminants used in colorimetry. The lighting elements defined in Chapters 4 and 5 are as follows: a) CIE standard lighting element A is used to represent the lighting of ordinary tungsten filament lamps for home use. Its relative spectral energy distribution is the relative spectral energy distribution of Planck radiators at a temperature of approximately 2856K. The CIE standard illuminant A is applied to various aspects of chromaticity in sand and incandescent lighting、 except when there are special reasons for using different illuminants. b) The CIE standard illuminator D65 is used to represent average daytime light and has a related color temperature of approximately 6500 K. The CIE standard illuminator D65 should be used in all chromaticity calculations that require typical light preservation. Unless there are special reasons、 different illuminators should be used. It is now known that the relative spectral energy distribution of daytime light varies with seasons、 times、 and geographical locations、 especially within the ultraviolet spectral region. Nevertheless、 before the supplementary information of these variables becomes effective、 the CIE standard illuminant D65 should be used. The relative spectral energy distribution values of CIE standard illuminants A and D65 are given in Table 1 of this standard. These values are given at 1 nm intervals between 300nm and 830nm. The term 'illuminant' refers to a defined spectral energy distribution that is not necessarily achievable or provided by a light source. In colorimetry、 illuminants are used to calculate the tristimulus values of reflected or transmitted object colors under specified lighting conditions. CIE also defines illuminant C and other illuminants D. These illuminants are all in CIE 15 2: It was discussed in 19860. However、 they do not have the same primary status as the CIE standard illuminators A and D65 described in this standard. It is recommended to use one of these two types of CIE standard illuminators as much as possible、 which will greatly promote the comparability of published results. The CIE illumination body D50 is also widely used in the fields of graphic art and photography、 such as IS0 364421 and IS0 1365507. In the vast majority of practical applications of colorimetry、 it is sufficient to use the values of CIE standard illuminants A and D65 in spectral regions larger than the wavelength interval specified in this standard or narrower than the spectral range specified in this standard. CIE 15 Two ports provide data and guidance methods that contribute to this practice、 as well as recommended procedures for other practical colorimetric measurements. The term 'light source' A physical emitter of light、 such as a lamp or sky. In some cases、 CIE recommends the use of laboratory light sources that approximate the spectral energy distribution of a CIE illuminant. However、 in all cases、 defining a CIE recommended light source is secondary to defining the corresponding CIE illuminant、 as new research results often promote the advancement of light sources. These light sources can more accurately represent a specific illuminant or more accurately Suitable for use in the laboratory. 6.1 of this standard describes the CIE light source recommended for implementing CIE standard illuminant A in the laboratory. Currently、 CIE has not recommended a light source to represent CIE standard illuminant D65. 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through the reference surface of this standard.
