Weld classification refers to the classification of welds in the pressure bearing part of pressure vessels based on their location and joint form. It is divided into categories A、 B、 C、 and D4. Class A weld seam refers to the longitudinal butt weld seam of the pressurized part of the container (except for the longitudinal seam of the layer plate in multi-layer wrapped containers)、 and also includes all splicing welds of various convex heads、 circumferential welds connecting spherical heads to cylinders、 and butt welds between embedded nozzles (referring to forgings in the nozzle area) and cylinders or heads. Class B welds refer to the circumferential butt welds of the pressurized part of the container、 and the butt welds connecting the small end of the conical head to the connecting pipe (excluding welds that can be clearly specified as Class A、 C、 and D)
