Hot dip galvanizing、 also known as hot-dip galvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing、 is an effective method of metal corrosion prevention、 mainly used for metal structures and facilities in various industries. It is to immerse the derusted steel parts in molten zinc at around 500 ℃、 so that a zinc layer is attached to the surface of the steel components、 thereby achieving the purpose of corrosion prevention. Hot dip galvanizing process flow: finished product pickling - water washing - adding auxiliary plating solution - drying - hanging plating - cooling - medicating - cleaning - polishing - hot dip galvanizing completion. 1. The entire steel surface is protected、 and whether it is inside the concave pipe fittings or any other corners where the coating is difficult to enter、 the dissolved zinc is easily and evenly covered. 2. The hardness value of the galvanized layer is greater than that of steel. The top layer of Etalayer only has a hardness of 70DPN、 making it susceptible to collision and indentation. However、 the lower layer of Zetalayer and deltalayer have 179 and 211 DPN hardness values、 respectively、 which are higher than the 159DPN hardness value of iron material. Therefore、 their impact and wear resistance are quite good. 3. In the corner area、 the zinc layer is often thicker than other areas、 and has good toughness and wear resistance. And other coatings at this corner are often the thinnest、 least easy to apply、 and most prone to injury、 so they often require further maintenance. 4. Even due to significant mechanical injury or other reasons. Causing a small part of the zinc layer to fall off and exposing the iron base、 the surrounding zinc layer will function as a sacrificial anode to protect the steel here from erosion. On the other hand、 the opposite is true for other coatings、 where rust will immediately form and quickly spread below the coating、 causing it to peel off. 5. The consumption of zinc layer in the atmosphere is very slow、 approximately 1/17 to 1/18 of the corrosion rate of steel、 and can be estimated. Its lifespan far exceeds that of any other coating. 6. The lifespan of the coating is mainly determined by the thickness of the coating in a specific environment. The thickness of the coating is determined by the thickness of the steel、 which means that the thicker the steel、 the thicker the coating. Therefore、 the thicker the steel parts in the same steel structure must also receive a thicker coating to ensure a longer lifespan. 7. Due to aesthetics、 art、 or when used in a specific severely corrosive environment、 the galvanized layer can be further painted with duplex system. As long as the paint system is selected correctly and easy to apply、 its anti-corrosion effect is 1.5-2.5 times better than the combined lifespan of individual painting and hot dip galvanizing. 8. To protect steel with a zinc layer、 there are several other methods besides hot-dip galvanizing. Generally、 the most widely used method with the best anti-corrosion effect and economic benefits is the hot-dip galvanizing method
