1. The importance of cleaning before greasing: The cleaning of parts before greasing and during packaging is very important.

If moisture、 sweat、 and dirt adhere to the surface of the part before applying grease、 or if the salt solution adhered to the part is not cleaned after salt bath heat treatment; In such conditions、 even if rust proof grease is applied、 the surface will still rust 2. Cleaning work before applying grease: Generally、 according to the process characteristics of the parts、 it is divided into two categories for treatment (1) Parts subjected to salt bath heat treatment: After the heat treatment、 the parts are boiled and washed once with a 3-5% sodium carbonate aqueous solution to dissolve the salt solution adhered to the surface of the parts into a sodium carbonate aqueous solution. Then、 the parts are boiled and washed once with boiling water、 and then washed with flowing water. For surfaces that are no longer subjected to grinding after heat treatment、 especially grooves、 sometimes the salt solution is not easily removed. At this point、 it is necessary to brush them with a brush、 then dry them with a dry cloth、 then dry them with a flood、 and finally immerse them in clean kerosene for greasing and packaging. For parts that require grinding after heat treatment、 they can be transferred to grinding after heat treatment. After processing、 they can be washed in hot oil and then immersed in clean hot oil for greasing and packaging. If alkaline coolant is used during grinding、 the parts must be boiled and washed with boiling water、 washed with flowing water、 and then wiped dry with a cloth. After being soaked in hot oil、 the parts must be coated and packaged (2) Parts that have not undergone salt bath heat treatment: These parts are wiped dry with a cloth、 dried、 and immersed in kerosene; If it is not clean after drying、 it can be washed in kerosene and then placed in clean kerosene for greasing packaging. If rust spots have formed on the surface of the parts due to prolonged storage、 the rusty spots must be polished off with No. 0 or No. 00 sandcloth; When polishing、 gloves should be worn to prevent contact between fingers and the surface of the workpiece. After polishing、 immerse it in hot oil and wait for greasing and packaging(3) Greasing: After the cleaning work of the parts is completed and a certain amount of grease is accumulated、 it can be applied. Firstly、 heat the anti rust grease to 100 °~110 ° C、 and then take out the parts immersed in hot oil and immerse them in the anti rust grease for 5-10 minutes. After being taken out and cooled to dry、 the anti rust grease will condense into a layer of grease film on the surface of the parts. If you want the parts to have a thicker grease film、 then after the parts are immersed in rust proof grease、 remove the rust proof grease from the heating furnace and let the parts cool together with the rust proof grease. When the temperature of the rust proof grease drops to 40 ° -50 ° C、 then remove the parts. At this point、 the grease film on the parts is thicker. If the anti rust grease has not been used for several days、 especially in humid seasons; In such cases、 it is best to heat the anti rust grease to 150 °~160 ° C in advance、 boil for half an hour、 and wait for it to cool to 0 °~60 ° C before using it
