This standard does not apply to the direct and indirect contact and protection of electrical parts in laser equipment and facilities that operate under safe ultra-low voltage and do not pose a risk of electric shock; It also does not apply to entire equipment containing laser components (such as medical equipment、 office machines、 and equipment used in hazardous environments). These devices should comply with other electrical safety standards. However、 if the laser can still operate after being removed from the equipment、 the removed laser should comply with the requirements of this standard. This standard also does not apply to laser equipment and facilities under development or design. This standard is not applicable to the use of laser radiation generated by laser equipment; It also does not specify radiation protection measures.
