TB3139 The document specifies the limits and testing methods for harmful substances in non-metallic materials used in locomotives and vehicles、 the limits and testing methods for prohibited and restricted substances in non-metallic materials used in locomotives and vehicles、 and the limits and testing methods for harmful substances in indoor air of locomotives and vehicles

This document is applicable to the limit of harmful substances in the interior of locomotives、 passenger cars、 and multiple units、 as well as in the indoor air of the driver's cab and each room. The limit of prohibited and restricted substances in non-metallic materials used in locomotives、 passenger cars、 and multiple units is also applicable

TB/T3139-2021 This document replaces TB/T 3139-2006 "Locomotive and Rolling Stock Interior Materials and Indoor Air Hazardous Substance Limits". Compared with TB/T 3139-2006、 except for editorial modifications、 the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The classification of structural materials and decorative materials has been deleted、 Do not divide the applied materials into parts (see 3.1 and 3.2 of the 2006 version) B) Added heating weight loss terms and indicators (see 3.1、 4.2.1、 4.4.1、 4.6.1、 4.8.1、 4.9.1)

c) Added basic requirements for the limit of harmful substances and test methods for non-metallic materials in vehicles (see 4.1)

d) Revised the limit and test methods for harmful substances in adhesives、 coatings、 and textiles (see 4.4、 4.5、 4.7、 3.3、 3.4、 and 3.6 of the 2006 edition)

e) Added the limit of harmful substances in the canvas used for folding windshields (see 4.6)

f) Added insulation materials (see 4.8)

g) Added foam materials for seats and sleepers (see 4.9)

h) Added laminating and backing materials (see 4.10)

i) Revised the formaldehyde test method and technical requirements (see 4.2、 4.8、 4.10、 and 4.1 of the 2006 version)

j) Added requirements for prohibited and restricted substances in non-metallic materials for locomotives and vehicles (see 5.2)

k) Revised the indoor air quality detection method for vehicles (see 6.2.1、 4.1.3 of the 2006 version)

1) Revised the indoor air sampling method for vehicles (see 6.2.2、 4.1.2 of the 2006 version)

m) Removed the conversion relationship between ppm and mg/m of formaldehyde at different temperatures (see Appendix A of the 2006 version)

n) Added heating weight loss test method (see Appendix A)

o) Added an explanation of the substance composition of prohibited and restricted substances in non-metallic materials for locomotives and vehicles (see Appendix B)

P) Added the requirements for restricted substances of non-metallic materials for locomotives and vehicles (see Appendix C)

q) Inspection methods for prohibited and restricted substances in non-metallic materials for locomotives and vehicles have been added (see 5.3、 Appendix D、 Appendix E、 Appendix F、 Appendix G、 Appendix H、 Appendix I、 Appendix J、 and Appendix K)
